Maruti Swift’s powerful engine is compliant with the BSIV emission
standards and delivers an impressive mileage of 18.6kmpl as per ARAI
test cycle.The diesel engine offers a
mileage of 22.9kmpl as per ARAI.
ACCELERATION
The petrol version of the new Swift is powered by a
1.2-litre K series engine with a displacement of 1198cc.
The K-Series engine is with light weight DOHC valve train that
reduces friction and performs better. The engine is having 5-speed
manual transmission. The new Maruti Swift scores better for
acceleration than the old model. The diesel version of Swift is
packed with 1.3-litre DDiS engine with a displacement of 1248cc.
EXTERIORS
The curvy body of the car is its attracting
feature. The front grill is very well defined and merges very subtly
with the headlights and makes the car look of very stunning and
attractive. The body coloured bumpers and internally adjusted ORVMs with

The petrol version of new Maruti
Swift is equipped with
a 1.2-litre, 1197 cc K series engine

engine is packed with a light weight 16-valve DOHC (Double Over Head
Camshaft) valvetrain, which helps in reducing friction and improving
durability of engine. The engine is Bharat Stage IV emission standard

performance and fuel economy too. The K series engine is very silent

BRAKES AND SAFETY FEATURS
Maruti Swift are ventilated disc brakes and the rear brakes are drum brakes.The presence of Dual SRS front
